This Privacy Policy explains how Kung Fu Giraffe, LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use SnapShot Stocks, including the website at snapshotstocks.com and the SnapShot Stocks iOS app (together, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

When you create and use an account, we collect:

Account information: your username, email address and password. Passwords are stored only in encrypted (hashed) form; we cannot see them.
Account status: whether your account is free or Premium, and when it was created.
Login information: the date of your last login and basic device and browser information (for example, "iPhone, iOS 18") sent automatically by your device.
Security information: the IP address of login attempts, used to protect accounts against repeated failed logins.
Messages you send us: if you email us, we keep the message so we can respond.

We do not collect your name, phone number, physical address, location, contacts or photos. We never receive or store your credit card or bank details.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

To keep you logged in and make the Service work, the following is stored on your own device:

A login cookie and, in the iOS app, a saved login token in your device's secure Keychain, so you stay signed in.
Your settings (such as light or dark theme) and copies of report data, so pages load quickly.

These stay on your device. Logging out clears your login; deleting your account clears the saved settings and data from that device.

3. How We Use Information

To create and manage your account and keep you signed in
To provide Premium access when you subscribe
To send emails you request, such as password reset links
To answer your support requests
To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse

4. Advertising and Tracking

We do not show ads. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

5. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of service providers to run the Service:

Apple processes in-app subscription payments. Apple handles your payment details under its own privacy policy; we only learn whether your subscription is active.
RevenueCat manages subscription status for the iOS app. It receives your account number (not your email or username) and your purchase history.
Our web hosting provider stores the Service's data on its servers in the United States.
Google Fonts supplies the typeface on some pages; your device requests the font directly from Google.

Some pages include links to outside websites (for example, a stock chart on Google). Those sites have their own privacy policies.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. Security logs of login attempts are kept only as long as needed to protect accounts. When you delete your account, your account information is removed from our database immediately; copies may remain in routine server backups for a limited time until those backups are replaced.

7. Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time from the Delete Account page in the app or on the website. This permanently removes your username, email address, password and account data from our servers and signs you out on all devices.

Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription. To stop future charges, cancel in your iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing support@snapshotstocks.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Data Security

All connections to the Service are encrypted (HTTPS), and passwords are stored only in hashed form. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

10. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the "Last Updated" date above, and for significant changes we will notify users in the Service. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
